Clean&Safe®Pro

Professional-grade reusable floor protection with Clean&Safe®Pro

Everything Clean&Safe® does, but with extra durability, making it easier to keep the job-site clean and safe.

Some jobs require more surface protection than others. Clean&Safe®Pro was built for jobs with longer timelines, heavier foot traffic, and dusty environments where debris builds up fast.

Broom sweeping wood shavings on a Clean&Safe®Pro mat, ideal for leak-proof, skid-resistant protection.

Leak-proof, skid-resistant with dual layers for heavier traffic

Extra layer on top for added durability and for longer projects

Broom clean or vacuum in place while still protecting the surface

The Pro Difference

One additional layer of membrane on top provides extra scratch-and-dent protection and allows broom cleaning or vacuuming without needing to pull the product up and reset.

BUILT FOR EASY CLEANUP ON MULTI-DAY JOBSITES

Clean It Without Moving It

The extra fiber layer means you can broom sweep or vacuum Clean&Safe®Pro in place. On a long job, that’s the difference between a clean site and a messy one.

Stands Up to Demanding Jobs

Withstands scaffold wheels, appliance carts, and heavy contractor traffic. Fewer replacements, lower supply costs.

Same Grip, More Protection

Lightweight, reverse-wound rolls lay flat without curling. Broom clean it, vacuum it, or shake it out. Use it again on the next job, and the one after that.

Works on Most Surfaces

Use SurfacePro® when working on a curing surface like new hardwood, fresh grout, stone, or concrete. For everything else, Clean&Safe® is a great choice.

  • Hardwood
  • Marble
  • Fixtures
  • Ceramic Tile
  • Countertops
  • Cabinets
  • LVP (Luxury Vinyl Plank)
  • Stairs
  • Furniture
  • Carpet
  • Bathtubs

When To Choose Clean&Safe®Pro

Longer Projects

When protection stays down for weeks or months, you need something that holds up to daily use and can be cleaned without being replaced. Clean&Safe®Pro is built for that timeline.

Dusty Environments

On sites where dust and debris accumulate quickly, the ability to broom-clean or vacuum in place keeps the site looking professional without disrupting your workflow.

Heavy Traffic Areas

High-traffic hallways, main stairways, and areas with equipment rolling over the surface daily benefit from the added durability of the Clean&Safe®Pro layer.

Not for Curing Floors

Like the standard Clean&Safe®, the Clean&Safe®Pro is leak-proof, but not breathable. If the floor is still curing, use SurfacePro® instead.

What Our Contractors Are Saying

Covering Common Questions About Clean&Safe®Pro

What is the difference between Clean&Safe® and Clean&Safe®Pro?

Both are leak-proof, skid-resistant, and reusable. Clean&Safe®Pro adds a second layer of abrasion-resistant membrane on top. That extra layer gives you more scratch-and-dent protection and allows you to broom-clean or vacuum the product in place without removing it, which makes a meaningful difference on longer or dustier jobs.

Yes. That’s the defining advantage of the Pro version. The extra fiber layer is designed to be broom-cleaned or vacuumed in place, so you don’t have to pull the product up to clean the site. For jobs where dust and debris accumulate daily, that saves real time.
Yes, and the added durability makes it particularly well-suited to stairs that see heavy use over extended periods. Tuck the runner on each tread or staple it under the nose. For high-traffic stairs, placing a small dowel where the riser meets the tread and securing it with finishing nails adds extra stability.
No. The skid-resistant backing grips under pressure, and the product lies flat without curling. Overlap sections by 3 to 5 inches for wider coverage — it won’t slide on itself. If you prefer to secure the seams, masking or painter’s tape on top removes cleanly when the job is done.
For the duration of the project, on any surface that doesn’t need to cure. Because there’s no adhesive on the backing, there’s no risk of residue transfer, no matter how long it stays down. Several contractors have left it in place for months during full renovations.

Clean&Safe®Pro is manufactured from post-consumer recycled fibers. Its added durability means it lasts longer than standard options and needs to be replaced less often, which reduces job-site waste. When it finally wears out, it can be repurposed for demolition work before being disposed of.
