Your leak-proof, lightweight, absorbent alternative to dropcloth solutions.
Other dropcloth solutions may slide, tear, buckle, or leave residue on finished floors or surfaces, resulting in additional costs and potential damage. Clean&Safe® was built as a reusable, skid-resistant drop cloth to solve three problems:
Grips any surface without adhesive
Absorbs spills without leaking through
Rolls back up when the job is done
The skid-resistant backing grips any surface under pressure — floors, stairs, countertops. No tape, no adhesive, no residue. Just unroll and work.
An absorbent top layer captures spills before they reach the surface. The leak-proof backing makes sure nothing gets through. Clean up a mess without creating one.
Lightweight, reverse-wound rolls lay flat without curling. Lightly vacuum it, rinse it, let it dry, or shake it out. Use it again on the next job, and the one after that.
Use SurfacePro® when working on a curing surface like new hardwood, fresh grout, stone, or concrete. For everything else, Clean&Safe® is a great choice.
Tuck the runner on each tread, or staple it under the nose. For extra stability, place a small dowel where the riser meets the tread and secure with finishing nails.
Stack two layers with plastic to plastic so the fiber side faces up for absorbency and down to grip the carpet.
Overlap sections by 3 to 5 inches. Clean&Safe® won't slide on itself under pressure, so no tape is needed at the seams. If you prefer to secure them, masking or painter's tape on top works fine.
The same product that protects your floors protects your surfaces. The 32" roll is ideal for countertops, stair runners, and hallways. The 40" roll covers larger areas faster.

“The anti-slip film on the back is wonderful. We leave our surface protection in place from start to finish on most renovations, which can last months. It has worked flawlessly.”

“We use the Clean&Safe® for runners in hallways. I’ve had good feedback from my customers, they say that it doesn’t slide anywhere, they can walk over it with no problems – they were impressed. Just for accessibility and ease, your products are great.”

“We have had nothing but good comments from our techs using Clean&Safe®! The tarps do not slide out from underneath when using it on stairs. Appliance cart use does not affect the tarp. Dust and dirt are left on the tarp, not on the customer’s floors and carpet. It provides excellent protection of the customer’s property, and it shows that the company has respect for their property.”
Leak-proof. The absorbent top layer captures spills, and the backing prevents them from reaching the surface below. It is not designed to be submerged or used as a vapor barrier, but it handles accidental spills and splashes that occur on a typical job site.
No. Because it lies flat and the backing grips under pressure, there is generally no need to tape it down. For wider coverage, overlap sections by 3 to 5 inches — it won’t slide on itself. If you want to secure seams, standard masking or painter’s tape on top works fine and removes cleanly.
Yes. Tuck the runner on each tread or staple it under the nose. For stairs that see heavy contractor traffic over months, some crews place a small dowel where the riser and tread meet and secure it with finishing nails for added stability.
For many job sites, yes. Canvas absorbs spills but can let them seep through to the floor. It also slides, especially on hardwood. Clean&Safe® is skid-resistant, leak-proof, absorbent, and lighter than canvas.
That depends on the job and how it’s used. Most contractors get many uses per roll. Lightly vacuum it, rinse it, and let it dry, or shake it out between uses. When it starts to wear, repurpose it for demo work before disposing of it properly.
Clean&Safe® is manufactured from post-consumer recycled fibers. It’s reusable, so it generates far less job-site waste than single-use options. When it finally reaches the end of its life, use it for demolition or messy work before proper disposal.
If the surface doesn’t need to cure, Clean&Safe® is the right call. If you’re working on a newly finished hardwood, freshly grouted tile, stone, or concrete — or in a humid environment where trapping moisture could damage the finish — use SurfacePro®, our breathable option.
